Radiolabs has participated to the Cyber 4.0 Forum that took place on 6 and 7 June at Luiss University with 23 breakout sessions, 68 speakers, and about 400 participants – representing an important event of discussion and exchange with its reference community – institutions, companies and research and innovation entities.
Sandro Chiocchio of Radiolabs was one of the invited speakers in the session dedicated to Blockchain for presenting the CYBORG project – CYbersecure Block-chain based in-vehicle cOmmunications towaRd post quantum cryptoGraphy- of which he is the coordinator.
Chiocchio highlighted the benefits of Blockchain technology applied to the geolocation system of connected and autonomous driving vehicles to create the “Digital Logbook” on which to record sequences of information flows exchanged between the control units and on-board vehicle systems. Furthermore, CYBORG – which inherits the Crypto Engine developed in the previous ShineOn project – will rely on post-quantum cryptography to ensure the highest levels of protection and to contribute to the future standard within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
